Garrett Kauffman is a true example of the Walther Farms core values and lives out daily what they embody. He plays a crucial role in all aspects of operations in Nebraska and does so with a positive attitude and passion and a true desire to sacrifice for and serve his team.
Garrett isn’t afraid to take on new challenges and does so with an infectious smile and a “Whatever it takes” attitude when things need to get done. He recently stepped in to support and lead the shipping team.
He portrays personal discipline and accountability by continuously adjusting equipment so that the line is running as effectively and efficiently as possible. He exhibits the same discipline in his role as the manager of seed operations in the spring, and in his role as manager of planting and harvest operations. As you can see, he plays a huge and essential role in Nebraska.
Because of Garrett’s willingness to sacrifice and serve as well as his good practical knowledge, he is held in high regard by his co-workers. Everyone feeds off Garrett’s can-do attitude and people are always asking for his opinions. Even though he possesses all these qualities, Garrett is very humble. He is an excellent example of the core value, Unity and Humility. He always has everyone in mind, never himself.
