Joe Amaro has been employed with Walther Farms for 25 years. Joe always has a smile on his face and is a great team member who gets along with everyone. He is an important part of the shipping team and is a key person on the line during harvest.
Joe also embodies the core value of sacrifice and service. He is the guy you can always count on to show up early and stay late if needed. No matter what time you call Joe with a question, you will get a response within minutes. Residing halfway between two storage locations he is often counted on and willing to drive over to help day or night at either one.
Joe got his start running the potato piler. He commonly now scoops for shipping, helps in the shop when available, oversees the harvest line operations, and helps training new harvest line operators. It’s safe to say that he has seen a thing or two over time. Congratulations Joe Amaro!
