Kalen Richardson joined the Kansas team in 2021. Although Kalen was new to potato production at the time, he quickly became integral to our success as he took on field management responsibilities in year one. Kalen is always eager to learn and continues to take on additional responsibilities to better himself and Walther Farms. Kalen plays a significant role in equipment and field preparation, as well as seed receiving, cutting, and suberization. This growing season, in addition to managing fields, Kalen will play a broader role in field operations and agronomy. Kalen exemplifies our core values and his dedication to the farm, our community, and his team members sets him apart.
