Since Jon joined the team in February 2014, he has shown time and again how he exemplifies this core value. Jon’s knowledge of the trucking industry and potato hauling made a significant and immediate impact to the transportation team that has touched every farm location.
As the team and fleet have grown, Jon has taken on the truck scheduling and has effectively conjoined unit efficiency with the needs of his largest customer: Walther Farms. Currently, Jon has been tasked to provide support for the upcoming Charlotte Transportation launch – a challenge that again permeates not only this core value in Jon, but the entire stable of Walther Farms core values. So whether it is weekend check calls on the trucks, helping solve a logistical problem, or hauling a last minute added load, Jon’s Willingness and Desire to Sacrifice and Serve should be celebrated and congratulated.
