Hugo Almonte Medina, known on the farm as “Don Hugo” has been with team Oregon since its first season in 2022. Don Hugo is an electrician and has quickly become a go to for trouble shooting and repairing storage line equipment, pivots, and irrigation pump motors. Working with high-voltage electrical equipment is extremely dangerous but Hugo always makes sure that he and his coworkers take proper safety measures and uses “Lock out Tag out” to inform other contractors that may be working in the area. Hugo is doing a great job at being a champion of safety at Walther Farms Oregon.
