Jason is one of the third generation Walther owners, and has 16 years of experience in the Walther Farms business. Jason has held numerous positions in the organization including Potato Coordinator, Farm Manager, Chief Operating Officer and eventually President & CEO of Walther Farms. Jason is a proud graduate of Michigan State University. A faith-driven leader, Jason is motivated in leading Walther Farms into the future with the mission to be a leader in Agribusiness.
Farm-wide best practices
Brian is one of the third generation Walther owners, and has 24 years of experience in the Walther Farms business. Brian has served our organization as former General Manager for headquarters farm in Southwest Michigan, founding General Manager for the West Group. After successfully developing our West Group operations, Brian is focusing his efforts on bringing years of farming experience and best practice systems across all of our farm operation locations.
Storage engineering and customer sales
Keith leads innovation for potato storages and is a master in solving logistics and potato supply challenges by leading sales relationships for Walther Farms. Keith’s team shares their knowledge and expertise with all Walther Farms storage and shipping teams every day and year around. Keith’s team sets the bar high in order to deliver consistent and extraordinary customer satisfaction. Starting at a young age on his family’s farm, Keith builds lasting relationships and solutions with his rich and diverse background in agricultural systems. Keith has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Science from Biological and Agricultural Engineering from North Carolina State University, he also holds a Professional Engineer license.
Gary is one of the third generation Walther owners and has 22 years of experience in the Walther Farms business. Located in UP, Gary is currently our Seed Operation General Manager, managing our Seed operation and delivering quality seeds as a foundation to achieve our crop production.
Kevin started with Walther Farms as a Field Manager. After successful master the field operation role, he was promoted as a General Manager. With almost 15 years of experience at Walther Farms, Kevin currently leads our operation at Mid-Michigan which includes Cass City and Hemlock farms. Kevin has also been appointed to the Michigan Potato Industry Commission.
Southwest Michigan Operation
Prior to joining Walther Farms’ headquarter Southwest Michigan team in field operation and promotion to General Manager, Johnny had served our country for 20 years in the military services. During his tenure in the service, Johnny had achieved excellent impact through various leadership roles. Possessing a natural affinity for continual education, Johnny has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education with a focus in corporate training and development, and a Master of Business Administration with the emphasis on strategic leadership.
Southwest Michigan Operation
Jim joined our organization in 2010 bringing many years of agronomy sales management experience and expertise. After 3 full seasons of leading the headquarters Southwest Michigan farm operation team, Jim is utilizing his agronomy passion and expertise to grow future agronomists, and focuses on developing new landlord relationships and more robust rotation plans.
West Group Operation
Prior to being promoted to Group Operations Manager for the West, James joined the Walther Farms team as a Senior Agronomist in 2011 to help start our West operation. James has over 10 years of experience as a Managing Agronomist and is a Certified Professional Agronomist and Certified Crop Advisor.
Jeremy is one of our third generation Walther owners and has 13 years of experience in the Walther Farms business. Jeremy started his career in field operations, and successfully mastered his knowledge of the business and has held Field Manager and Operations Manager responsibilities. He is currently leads operations in Indiana, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina.
Anthony is one of our third generation Walther owners and has 10 years of experience in the Walther Farms business. Anthony has an Agronomy degree from Michigan State University. Anthony has held many operational leadership roles in the business, and created positive impact for our Agronomy program farm-wide. He is currently the Senior Agronomist for our Southeast operation.
